Rider Terms
Last updated 12 October 2026
These terms apply to riders who deliver orders using Happy SI, operated by Happy Super Intelligence. They add to the Terms of Use. By signing in to the rider app you accept both.
1. Who you work with
Rider accounts are created by partner shops. You deliver for the shop that added you, under whatever arrangement you have agreed with that shop, including pay. Happy SI provides the app for receiving and updating deliveries; it is not your employer and does not set your pay or hours.
2. Requirements
- You must be at least 18 and legally allowed to work in Kenya.
- You must hold the licences, insurance and vehicle documents the law requires for the way you deliver, and follow traffic laws.
- Keep your rider password private and don't let anyone else use your account.
3. Making deliveries
- Handle orders with care and deliver them complete and unopened.
- Mark each order as picked up and delivered only when it actually happens.
- Treat customers with respect. Use their details only to complete the delivery.
- Collect cash only when the order says cash on delivery, hand it to the shop as agreed, and never ask a customer to pay to a different number.
4. Location sharing
While you have an active delivery, the app shares your location so the customer can follow the order and the shop can manage deliveries. A customer can see your position only for their own active order, and sharing stops once it is delivered or cancelled. See the Privacy Policy.
5. Suspension
Your shop can deactivate your account at any time. We may suspend riders involved in fraud, theft, harassment or dangerous conduct.
